The City of Shamokin is seeking quotations from firms that wish to provide engineering services to undertake a Hydrologic and Hydraulic study within City limits to investigate the 100-year floodplain along Shamokin Creek and its tributaries, Carbon Run and Coal Run. The study should include recommendations from a professional engineer to help the City identify how the water moves (volume and rate of the flow) and identify what can be done to move forward to address the potential issues. This project is being financed by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Department of Community and Economic Development. Required proposal
