The SEDA-COG Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will be holding public meetings on May 4 at the Union County Government Center, 155 N. 15th St., Lewisburg. SEDA-COG transportation planners will share information about the draft 2027-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and draft 2026-2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and request public input on these plans for the SEDA-COG MPO region comprising Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties. The meeting on the draft TIP runs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the meeting about the draft LRTP runs from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. In-person or virtual participation will be available.
The draft LRTP identifies long-term needs and outlines proposed transportation priorities and strategies for the eight-county SEDA‑COG MPO region, serving as an important guide for future federal, state, and local transportation investment decisions. The draft TIP lists federally funded projects and regionally significant, non-federally funded projects programmed for implementation over the next four years.
