Danville Borough proposes to use Community Development Block Grant funds to procure an engineer for the design and construction supervision of the installation and/or reconstruction of approximately 24-30 curb ramps on Ferry, Church and Pine Streets in Danville, PA. Quotes will be accepted until March 4, 2022 prevailing time, 10:00 a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened at the Danville Borough Building, 463 Mill Street, Danville, PA 17821.  Quotes that are faxed or e-mailed cannot be accepted.   • Identifying the amount of energy lost in a household.
  • Advising customers on home energy conservation practices.
  • Ability to apply different types of insulation in confined areas such as attics/crawl spaces.

  • Inspect equipment such as furnaces to ensure proper operation.
  • Basic carpentry tasks
  • Ability to perform work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required qualifications/skills

  • The candidate must have a valid PA’s driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred qualifications/skills

  • Construction, electrical, plumbing, and furnace experience preferred but not required.

NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ON PROPOSED USE OF UNION COUNTY’S FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR
2020-CV COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG-CV) FUNDS

Notice is hereby given that Union County, and Union County on behalf of Kelly Township, will conduct a public hearing at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Union County Government Center, Commissioners’ Board Room, 155 North 15th Street, Lewisburg, PA 17837. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain citizen views and comments on Union County’s proposed FFY 2020-CV CDBG budget modifications and to receive any comments or grievances regarding Union County’s CDBG funds. This meeting is accessible to individuals with disabilities and/or for persons with Limited English Proficiency.
